Dr. Marilyn M. McCort DVM

Dr. McCort earned her Bachelor of Science Degree, with a Major in the Biological Sciences and a Minor in Ethology (the study of animal behavior) from Purdue University in 1986. In 1990, Dr. McCort graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and began her career at a busy companion animal practice in Akron, Ohio.  Two years later, she and her husband Ken were active in helping to found the “Doggie Brigade” program at Akron Children’s Hospital. Throughout her career Dr. McCort has been active in the rescue of abused and neglected animals.  She and her husband Ken reside in Doylestown on an 11-acre farm, and nearly all of their current animals are rescues, including 6 dogs, 5 cats, 7 parrots, 2 miniature horses, 1 donkey, 1 bearded dragon, and many finches.
Dr. McCort’s interests away from practice include spending time with her husband  and her animals, involvement with volunteer organizations, and wildlife and nature photography and animal photography in general, as well as the study of animal behavior and body language.  She also enjoys reading when time allows.  Sports are another one of her passions, especially basketball and football.
Dr. Ethan K. Horst DVM

Dr. Ethan Horst received his Bachelor’s degree in biology from Eastern Mennonite University and his Master’s degree from James Madison University. He then continued his education at Ross University School of Veterinary medicine where he received his DVM. His special interests are surgery and exotic animal medicine.

Dr. Mary Ann Tima DVM
